Tesla was a skilled scrivener known for his preference for a quiet and peaceful life. Acquainted with [[Mathiu Silverberg]], he had previously worked as a document forger under Mathiu's supervision to facilitate smuggling activities. Recognizing Tesla's talent, Mathiu would later hand-pick him for recruitment into the [[Toran Liberation Army]].
 
After settling down in [[Antei]] under the alias of Albert Onyx following Mathiu's departure from imperial service, Tesla sought to distance himself from his past and lead a tranquil existence as a scrivener.
