Japanese Stew (なべもの, Nabemono) is a recipe in Suikoden II. It is Recipe #34 in the game.
Information
This hot pot dish is made from meat, fish, and vegetables stewed together, served while still boiling. There are several variants of this dish and one in particular, Sweet Tofu, which uses sugar as a seasoning, is loved by many women as a dessert.
Recipe #34 could only be obtained from the DoReMi Elves in Greenhill Forest in the latter stages of the Dunan Unification War.

Trivia
- A bug in the PlayStation version of Suikoden II means that Recipe #34 can not be acquired if Recipe #12 has already been given to Hai Yo, due to the wrong integers being overwritten when the latter recipe is presented to him. The opposite is also true, so both recipes need to be presented to Hai Yo simultaneously.
