Claudia (クラウディア Kuraudia) is a character mentioned in Suikoden. She was the wife of Barbarosa Rugner who passed away prior to the events of the game.
History
Claudia was Barbarosa's queen whose gentle personality endeared her to his subjects. Following the War of Succession, Barbarosa was involved in a border conflict with the City-State of Jowston and by the time he had returned to Gregminster in triumph, Claudia had passed away from illness.
Windy bore a very strong resemblance to the late Claudia. During the Gate Rune War, it was believed by many that Barbarosa was enraptured with Windy due to her strong physical resemblance to Lady Claudia.
