Sterling (スターリング, Sutāringu) is a character in Genso Suikoden Short Story Collection 2. He was the dragon of Adi.
History
Sterling was the silver-colored dragon of the esteemed Dragon Knight, Adi, a friend of Joshua Levenheit's. Sterling and Adi were both highly regarded. The young Milia looked up to them greatly.
One day while flying on a reconnaissance mission, Adi and Sterling were shot down by spooked guards at the Northern Checkpoint and Adi died in the fall. Following this, Sterling turned into a Zombie Dragon to protect Adi's body, attacking those approached.
An investigation was eventually launched by Humphrey Mintz and the Dragon Knights. Sterling would lash out at the pair with his poisonous dragon breath but was eventually defeated by Joshua and his Dragon Rune.
His body would be given over to Humphrey as Joshua had previously agreed upon. Humphrey would burn the body to prevent his commander, Gillan, from using the tragic creature's remains to advance his own status.
