Dogu (ドッグ, Doggu) is a character who appears in Genso Suikoden Short Story Collection 4. Dogu was an inn patron considered a prime suspect in the attempted murder of Milan Fiori.
History
Dogu was a swordsman who was at the Lavender Village inn in Radat Town when Milan Fiori was attacked. He wore a heavy coat, carried a well-used sword, and his face was concealed by a bandana, save for his dangerous looking eyes. He was also younger than he first appeared and wore his bandana to cover a scarred lower face.
He was a drifter who started frequenting the inn in the days before the attack. When the inn closed at night, he slept in a boat floating on the river.
When Richmond began investigating suspects, Dogu tried to dismiss the detective. Glidden would reveal that Dogu had cursed out Milan the night before the attempted murder.
This and his weapons, including a collection of knives, meant Richmond considered him a potential prime suspect in terms of the attempted murder weapon. He would attempt to force Richmond to abandon the investigation in a nighttime attack but failed.
