Zella (ゼラ, Zera) is a character from Genso Suikoden Short Story Collection 2. He was the leader of a rebel organization within the Scarlet Moon Empire.
History
Zella was a member of a liberation movement located in Gregminster and master swordsman. He was able to keep both the men and women in his group hidden by having them dress and act as harlots. Zella was not excluded from this; he donned women's clothes and acted and spoke like a woman.
He wore a silk dress and had long, flaxen hair. Odessa felt he was slightly taller than Flik. Like Alec, Zella was struggling to survive following the Imperial crackdown on rebel operations but was convinced to support Odessa Silverberg's Lenankamp organization when she returned to the capital.
Zella would uncover that the meeting was a trap. He remarked that Odessa was foolish to come to Gregminster with a bounty on her head only for Odessa to say that she had only come because she had received a personal invitation.
This led them both to realize that they had been set up to lead Imperial soldiers from Lenankamp to Zella's brothel hideout. At that moment, the Imperial raid began.
Once under attack, Zella helped Odessa escape while holding off the Imperial soldiers by impersonating her. His fate after that is unknown.
