Armor shops (防具屋, Bōgu-ya) are common businesses where people can buy and sell various pieces of equipment such as armor and shields in the Suikoden series.

Store inventory differs according to each store and its location, though the quality of a store's goods was usually proportional to the degree of danger in the area.
During the Gate Rune War, Chapman was able to run an armor shop at the Toran Liberation Army's Toran Castle headquarters. It is said that he had all the armor that was sold in any town the hero stopped at, showing the effort he put into keep his store's stock up-to-date.
Hans, meanwhile, ran an armor shop at New State Army Headquarters during the Dunan Unification War that operated on much the same principle.
