Hien (ヒエン, Hien) is a character from Genso Suikoden Short Stories 2. Hien is the father of Sasuke who died in the Gate Rune War.
Biography
During the Gate Rune War, Hien was the deputy leader of the ninjas of Rokkaku. When the Imperial Army attacked the village, it was he who attempted to lead the swallow trainees to safety. His intuition led him to believe he was been trailed and turned back alone to draw away his pursuers and was never seen again.
He was the biological father of Sasuke, although Sasuke was unaware of this due to Rokkaku tradition forbidding children from knowing their parents identities and so never had a parental relationship with his son.
