The Great Hawk Rune (オオタカの紋章, Ōtaka no Monshō) is an attack rune which appears in several games of the Suikoden series.
This rune could only be borne by those who wielded bows and similar weapons in combat. The Great Hawk Rune would allow its bearer to execute a powerful attack, firing arrows at all enemies on the battlefield simultaneously.
The damage to each single enemy would not be great, but when fighting against many foes at the same time, this technique was very efficient as well as effective.
