Cleion (クレイオン, Kureion) is a supporting character in Genso Suikoden Tsumugareshi Hyakunen no Toki. He is an enigmatic musician.

Biography

Cleion was a mysterious minstrel. In the year 100, he suddenly appeared on the battlefield in the fight against the Terrus Firma. He would play a beautiful song to empower the Ionian Army before vanishing without a trace. This would happen several times over the course of the conflict.

He would be encountered by the hero several times around Apiro Hill. He seemed to know more than he let on, guessing the reason for Laquila's guilt and directing her to Perie Forest. He would inform Lethe of their approach. He also seemed to hold some knowledge of the Era Tree.

Meeting Zephon, he was inspired to create a new song, although he denied knowing the youth in any way. It was this song that he would teach to members of the hero's corps.

Following the end of the war, Cleion vanished after Laquila's return to Thaksis. Perplexingly, there is no record of him in Ionia's exhaustive family registry.
