Genso Suikoden Tierkreis Hoshikuzu no Shiro (幻想水滸伝ティアクライス 星屑の城, Suikoden Tierkreis Stardust Castle) is the eleventh game of the Suikoden series and the first game to explicitly take place outside of the continuity of the previous games. It was a visual novel released on mobile phones in Japan and was presented as a side story series that leads into Suikoden Tierkreis itself.
Information
Due to its limited release and obscure nature, not much information is available on the events of the game. Its events are also not referenced in any other reference material concerning Suikoden Tierkreis, such as the Genso Suikoden Kiwami Encyclopedia.
Promotional blurbs speak of a battle between an Order and the Star Corps, a group opposed to their ideology, gathering comrades from many different countries. The main character is Tosh, a boy from the port town of Denbane.
Tosh would join the Star Corps and encounter many Starbearers and form an alliance with the Leonos Kingdom, as the scope of their battle against the Order grew into something much greater than an ideological struggle. He would also become familiar with the leader of the Corps, who had lost his son due to an accident in the Corridor.
The visual novel also tells the story of a similar, but different world of the Infinity. One in which the selfsame Tenkai Star, lost in grief after the death of his son, attempted to sacrifice the power of the Starbearers to defeat the One King, thus becoming the One King himself. He would end up being called to this world, to face a different version of himself.
This encounter would be the battle shown in the opening of Suikoden Tierkreis, indicating that it took place in the world of the 8th world fusion.
Several cameos from Suikoden Tierkreis characters occur during the story, such as Atrie, Hotupa, and Zenoa.
