Colin (コリン, Korin) is a character from Genso Suikoden Short Story Collection 3. He was an adolescent who hoped to join Viktor's mercenaries.

History

Colin was a boy from a small village near Muse City. Two years older than Templeton, Colin had a youthful face with round eyes, and a bulbous nose. One of his front teeth was missing and he had uneven black hair.

Colin came from a farming family but with the fields suffering from skirmishes between the City-State of Jowston and Highland Army, Colin hoped to become a soldier at the Mercenary Fortress to support his family and send his two sisters to New Leaf Academy. As such, he dressed as much like a soldier as he could, with low-quality, hand-made equipment.

When Templeton was passing through east Muse Principality on his way to Muse City, he would be attacked by a ShadowDog which Colin managed to drive off. Colin then insisted on escorting Templeton to Toto Village, then Muse City, much to Templeton's irritation.

Still, the two would grow closer over the course of their journey, Colin even helping Templeton with his cartography after showing interest in the process. As the two stopped at the White Deer Inn, Colin seemed hestitant to depart for his own destination.

Templeton realized that Colin was likely nervous about potentially fighting in battle. Templeton would convince him to finally journey to the Mercenary Fortress.

Tragically, he would arrive at Toto Village on the day of Luca Blight's attack on the village and was killed in the massacre. Templeton would find his body in the ruins and buried the Sacrificial Jizo Colin's younger sister had made for him.
