The Banner Mines (バナーの鉱山, Banā no Kōzan), localized as Banaar Mines in Suikoden, is a location mentioned in the first game.

Information

The Banner Mines are located in the far northern Banner Mountains at the border with the Dunan Republic, in the region of Dana. It was owned by the Scarlet Moon Empire and was rich in minerals. It was also known for being a forced labor camp for criminals and dissidents.

During the early Gate Rune War, the Imperial Army attempted to press Mathiu Silverberg to return to military service by threatening to send a student of his to the mines.
