HD Texture Pack

With the release of the Suikoden: Woven Web of the Centuries 1.0.1 update, we’re also bringing you the optional HD Texture pack. This is perfect for those of us playing on bigger screens through PPSSPP.

All you need to do is download the HD Texture Pack itself from one of the below links.

STEP 1 Make sure there is a folder called TEXTURES located in Documents\PPSSPP\PSP. This is the directory that also contains folders such as SAVEDATA, SYSTEM, GAME, etc. If the folder TEXTURES does not exist, create it here.

STEP 2 Inside the TEXTURES folder, unzip the HD Texture Pack zip file, placing the folder NPJH50535 here.

STEP 3 Open up PPSSPP and select your copy of Suikoden: Woven Web of the Centuries. On the top bar, select Game settings, then More settings…

On the screen, select Tools, then Developer Tools. On that screen, scroll all the way down to the Texture Replacement section and make sure Replace textures is turned on. Everything else should be left as it is.

STEP 4 Continue your game of Suikoden: Woven Web of the Centuries and starting playing! For best results, your PPSSPP resolution should be at least 720p. In your Game Settings, Rendering Resolution should be set to Auto.

STEP 5 (OPTIONAL) The HD Texture Pack by default enlarges sprite artwork without smoothing it, to preserve the intention of the original game. However, if you prefer that sprite icons also be smoothed, there are folders called Alternate in the various subfolders of NPJH50535. Feel free to overwrite the original files with the content of these Alternate folders if you prefer!
